The artwork in this gallery was created between 2010 and 2015 during my time associated with the reincarnation of the Everleigh Social Club, in Chicago, IL. I was part of a wonderful group of artists who became good and close friends. For most of those years, we met weekly to draw and paint local and visiting burlesque dancers and models and hung out afterward to talk about art and life. We collaborated on themes, poses, and backgrounds, the results of which are the finished paintings you see. We also held a series of exhibitions called Sensual Chicago in 2014, 2015, and 2016.
